Sorry for the delay in updating our news, but we thought we’d wait until a few events were confirmed. 2019 is going to be a very busy year for us…lots of teaching, gigs and travel! Here’s a run down of events:

Mar 2: Yae Glintin’ Licht at the Torphichen Inn, 2-7pm (Glenbervie playing 3.20-4pm, plus Kayleigh doing Highland Dancing)

Mar 30-Apr 8: San Diego, for Tartan Day on 6 April plus various other performances

May 10 & 13: Glenbervie doing workshops for schools at Callendar House, as part of their Jacobite exhibition (slots already booked)

May 18: Glenbervie at the Tryst Festival – 12.30-1.30 at Falkirk Trinity Church. Free!

May 19: Kathryn playing with Falkirk Tryst Orchestra in their concert at Falkirk Town Hall.

May 25: Fundraising concert for Odenwald Association trip. Variety of performers at Grangemouth Town Hall, including Glenbervie.

May 29-June 4: Trip to Norfolk to play at The Wheatsheaf, West Beckham on 31, 1 & 2.

July 16-22: Yn Chruinnaght Celtic Gathering at Peel, Isle of Man from 17-21 July.

Aug 8-15: Trip to Odenwald with Twinning Assoc to play at Schottische Nacht

Sep 13-16: Ardersier Folk Festival. Glenbervie performing and Neil taking whistle workshops.

Oct 30-Nov 6: Trip to Charleston, S. Carolina with Clan Paisley Society, to take part in Highland Games.

Whew!! On top of all that, Neil is averaging 40-50 lessons per week and has a few pupils travelling from abroad to have lessons at the house. Thanks to all who support and encourage us in what we do – we are privileged to be able to enjoy our work and share our love of music!
